Graphic Design Assistant Intern (Position Filled Until March 2017. Check Back For Re-listing)
Position Details: The ideal candidate will be organized, responsible, and able to multi-task in the stresses and fast pace of a deadline environment. Must be able to deal with changing priorities to meet project department needs. Experience with content management systems, basic HTML, Movable Type, PDF, Quark, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, BBEdit, and Microsoft Excel is highly preferred. Web production interns will assist editors with photo research, image resizing in Photoshop, code text in HTML, build articles and slideshows for Living Eden Media and generally work on web production-related projects.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the delivery of cutting edge design visuals for sales, marketing and product materials for use in print, online, packaging, and collateral
• Contribute quality, unique and imaginative graphic elements for company communications and product completion
• Take direction well, exhibit an ability to use your own initiative and be a self starter
• Fit in as a team player who can maintain a positive attitude focused on contributing to task success
• Possess a high attention to detail, solid layout skills and an artistic eye. Must be able to translate trends into projects
Qualifications:
At least two years of education or training in graphic design, fine art, computer science, or equivalent combination
• Class samples or portfolio showing talents and skills in media and print design
• Preferably strong experience with at least one of the following: Adobe Illustrator, Quark, BBEdit, Photoshop, basic HTML.
• Able to communicate the status of projects and predict problems with deadlines
• Skills in writing, copy editing, photography, and/or video production, a plus

Junior Marketing Executive (Position Filled. Thank you to those who applied)
Position details: Will play a role as both an individual contributor and team lead providing media data evaluations and website insights to enhance and optimize the experience of our readers. This position will develop personalized support contacts across multiple channels through the creation of improvement models and other analytic work products with the goal of elevating quality and efficacy.
Responsibilities:
•Define, measure and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
•Provide actionable insights related to consumer needs, product and content performance, site conversion and testing and campaign performance
•Work to tailor modeling efforts that meet business needs, balancing multiple priorities and effectively communicating the benefits and limits of predictive models, optimization, and personalization
•Support team members in developing methodologies for improving forecast models. Measure and analyze campaigns in support of cross-channel marketing efforts (social, website, mobile, offline, display, SEM, etc.)
•Stay current on emerging web measurement tools, strategies and trends continuing to educate self on new trends
•Provide clarity of goals and priorities, coaching, development
•Analyze and interpret data; synthesize information from a variety of sources and translate into effective and actionable reports/recommendations
Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience in marketing and analytics, preferably in an e-commerce environment; print and digital sales experience a plus with experience in media planning and strategy
•Proficiency in Base SAS or R programming is essential
•Demonstrated ability in analyzing data to enhance business outlook
•Experience using statistical analysis and other evaluation techniques
•Experience with SQL Programming, Mathematical Optimization, Business Intelligence platforms, visualization software or other analytical tools is desirable
•Prior people management experience
•Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
